McCain impressed me, Obama depressed me.
The “pay grade” statement will haunt Obama. I foresee it as the centerpiece of a McCain campaign ad...
Straight Talk Express versus Dire Straits Talk Express
Fighting evil was above his pay grade.
David Gergen on CNN: “McCain is going to be much tougher to beat in the debates than many thought.”
When a partisan like David Shuster can admit that McCain gave clearer and better answers I think that's saying something.
Two men entered. One man left.
CNN keeps talking about “nuance”. Is this “nuance” some sort of code for not being able to answer a fricking question in a coherent manner?
CNN 's David Brody: "I think McCain had a great night... The Straight Talk Express had a full tank of gas tonight... Very effective night for John McCain.."

Thanks for posting this. I was unable to watch because of a special meeting at church.
From what I've read here and in two or three other places, it seems that John McCain clearly established his bona fides to be president.
And Barack Obama, or whatever his real name and nationality might be?
It appears that Humpty Dumpty took the fall and, if what I read is accurate, all the king's men and all the king's horses can't put HD Obama back together again.
For sure, given some of his responses from someone who confesses to be a "devout Christian," he needs prayer that he will have a true encounter with the real Messiah. Immediately.
Amen. No pun intended.
